Jazz is one of my favorite musical genres and it\u00b4s been present in all my creative detours.<\/p>\n
The collection has the name\u00a0Bebop\u00a0(b\u0113,b\u00e4p) because it was a unique jazz style that took place between the years 1940 and 1945, few could play it due to its high level of musical demand. During this time musical instruments such as the trumpet, saxophone and piano were\u00a0reinvented\u00a0mainly, creating\u00a0unpredictable, creative and powerful sounds, this music really was quite an abstract and \u201cunderground\u201d work of art that gave way to jazz contemporary. One of its main exponents was Charlie Parker (brilliant saxophonist, known as \u201cBird\u201d).<\/p>\n
The complexity and content of the Bebop music was for me a way of interpreting the break between ceasing to do something known by someone else entirely; a fight between a party tied to routine and security; and another absolutely creative, constantly changing and in need to get out and \u201cbe free.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is how my inspiration for this collection was born, pieces that reflect that intensity, high contrasts and intimate creativity (Therefore the set of tones in the colors and textures) and that in turn, are a graphic representation of the music (Therefore the shapes
